We established the Devi theatre release to the heart of Cambodia’s rich heritage lies a tale of resilience and grace, embodied by Princess Norodom Buppha Devi. After the devastating years of the Khmer Rouge in the 1970s, when much of the nation’s cultural tapestry was threatened with erasure, it was Princess Buppha Devi who rose as a beacon of hope. With unwavering dedication, she revived the traditional ballet—a sacred art form that had once seemed lost to time.
